This may become one of my favourite places in the garden!

Well not much has happened inside the house lately, although it’s likely the builders will be starting in two weeks time. However, I finally spent time weeding the large asparagus patches. Just in time as it appears, and the spears have already started appearing through the soil. Seems early to me, but still very nice.

I’m looking forward to a harvest every few days, and steamed asparagus coated in melted butter for dinner every evening!
